As a coach for OTL’s Boot Camps, Coach Laura Kromann leads and motivates those who take part in the group program. She loves training the Boot Campers because of the accountability and structure it provides to help members achieve their fitness goals. She is constantly reminded of the power of the OTL Boot Campers ability to motivate each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus, seeing members achieve their goals and remaining consistent in the gym.
As a doctor, Laura sees first-hand the need for movement in order for her patients to be strong, resilient and healthy throughout their entire lives. She believes having a movement practice goes much deeper than aesthetics. Humans are designed to move, and exploring the body’s capabilities through movement helps us be healthier, both physically & mentally. Her passion is teaching people before injury/ health crises occur, in the truest sense of prevention.
Outside of the gym you can find Coach Laura running the greenbelt, rock climbing, swimming at Barton Springs pool, playing soccer, tumbling or doing yoga with her sister, Jenna.
She also has a passion for helping others and enjoys participating in medical relief trips: she has provided care in Peru, Haiti and Mexico. Recently, she supported Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Houston as a physician volunteer through Jordan International Aid.
